Corporate Finance: A seminar with practical relevance

[Translate to English:] Quelle: PwC

This Master's seminar is organized in cooperation with PwC and enables students to gain real business experience with a high degree of practical relevance.

The cooperation is not limited to workshops on PwC's valuation techniques.  A listed company from Lower Saxony will work with the students to develop a real-life valuation scenario with current company references.

In the summer semester 2023, the seminar took place in cooperation with Salzgitter AG. As part of the master's seminar, the students assessed Salzgitter AG, which offered an interesting scenario against the backdrop of the Salcos initiative for the almost CO2-free production of hydrogen for the manufacture of green steel. The presentations took place after an exciting tour of the Salzgitter AG site under (almost) real-life conditions: The Head of Group Accounting and the Deal Advisory Partner from PwC took part in the student event.

This Master Seminar offers an excellent opportunity for further academic training, to improve practical skills in business valuation and, last but not least, to build networks both among the students and with the participating companies.

The kick-off for the seminar is on 25 March 2024 at 18:00.  Further Informationen can be found in the seminar profile.
