Research at the Institute of Banking and Finance focuses on the management of financial institutions, financial decision-making processes and the use of financial and capital market instruments. Our focus is on asset pricing, behavioral finance, decision making under uncertainty, experimental economics, financial intermediation, portfolio choice. As part of the research focus area "Innovation and Learning" we cooperate with other institutes of the faculty, in the Hannover Center of Finance with companies of the financial sector.
