ObjectivesIn this empirical seminar, students investigate capital market related research questions by applying numerical software (e.g. R or Python). Subsequently, results are evaluated economically and presented scientifically.
PrerequisitesBWL III
Introductory course to academic researchAt the beginning of each semester we offer an introductory course on scientific writing, LaTeX, Python, and R. It is structured as an in-person presentation series (with hands on excercises and ample room for your questions). Details are available here on our website. If this is your first seminar or thesis with the IBF, participating in the introductory course is mandatory. Moreover, there is an complementary ILIAS course.
