Summa Cum Laude for Jan Krupski

Once again, an employee of the Institute of Banking and Finance was able to convince with his analytical skills.

In less than four years, Jan Krupski has completed four research projects, two of which have been published in peer-reviewed journals (ranking A and A-/B+) to date, an extraordinary research achievement for a young PhD student.

On Wednesday 22.03.2023 he defended his dissertation "Mispricing, Momentum, and Market Timing - Essays on Stock Market Puzzles and Capital Structure Decisions" in front of the board of examiners. The disputation was accepted by Prof. Dr. Dierkes (supervision and expert opinion, 2nd left), Prof. Dr. Prokopcuk (expert opinion, 1st left), , Prof. Dr. Sibbertsen (chair, 2nd right), Dr. Christian Siemering acted as assessor (1st right).
